Cincinnati Enquirer, "Aviation Accident News: First Comair suit filed"

          A lawsuit blaming Comair for a deadly crash at the Lexington airport was filed Friday, less than a week after the nation's deadliest airline disaster in five years.
          The family of Rebecca L. Adams claims the regional airline was negligent leading up to Sunday morning's crash of Comair Flight 5191, resulting in the deaths of 49 of the 50 people on board. The commuter jet mistakenly tried to take off from a runway that was too short at Blue Grass Airport, crashing in a nearby field.
          The suit filed in state court says Adams suffered "conscious pain and suffering" during the crash and subsequent fire. The crash "could not have happened if those having control of the instrumentality had not been negligent," attorney Bobby Wombles of Lexington said in the suit. Nick Miller, a Comair spokesman, said he couldn't comment on any pending litigation.
