Adam Air Indonesia Crash. On January 1, 2007, an Adam Air Boeing 737 plunged into the sea in central Indonesia in stormy weather after issuing distress signals. All 102 people on board were killed. Learn more about the Adam Air crash.

Gol Airlines Flight 1907 Crash in Amazon of Brazil. On September 29, 2006, a brand-new Boeing 737-800 operated by Brazilian air carrier Gol plunged into the Amazon jungle after colliding with a smaller plane. None of the 149 passengers and six crew members on board survived the accident. Lieff Global, along with co-counsel, is representing families whose loved ones died in the Gol Airlines tragedy. Comair/Delta Air Regional Airplane Accident. On August 27, 2006, A Delta Air Lines Inc. Comair commuter plane crashed shortly after takeoff at Blue Grass Airport in Lexington, Kentucky, killing 49 and critically injuring one. Learn more about the Delta Comair commuter plane crash.

West Caribbean Airways Charter Flight 708 Crash. On August 16, 2005, West Caribbean Airways charter flight 708 traveling from Panama to Martinique crashed in Venezuela after its engines failed, resulting in the loss of all 160 passengers and crew. Helios Airways Flight HCY 522 Boeing 737 Crash. On August 14, 2005, Helios Airways flight HCY 522 headed from Larnaca, Cyprus to Athens International Airport crashed north of Athens, resulting in the loss of all passengers and crew. Learn more about the Helios Airways August 14, 2005 crash.

Turbine Legend Crash in Tucson, Arizona. On November 19, 2005, a single engine "Turbine Legend" kit plane operated by its owner crashed shortly after takeoff from a private airstrip in Tucson, Arizona, killing both the owner/pilot and a passenger. Lieff Global represents the widow of the passenger and is investigating the liability of the pilot and others, including the manufacturer of the kit and the operator of the airport from which the plane took off. The runway was 16 feet narrower than the minumum width recommended by the Federal Aviation Administration.
Manhattan Tourist Helicopter Crash. On June 14, 2005, a Bell 206 helicopter operated by Helicopter Flight Services, Inc. fell into the East River shortly after taking off for a tourist flight over New York City. The pilot and six passengers were immersed upside-down in the water as the helicopter overturned. Lieff Global represents a passenger on the helicopter.
Mandala Airlines Boeing 737-200 Crash. On September 5, 2005, a Mandala Airlines Boeing 737-200 crashed immediately after takeoff at the airport in Medan, a city in northeast Sumatra. Learn more about the Mandala Airlines Indonesia crash.

2003 Air Algerie Boeing 737 Crash at Tamanrasset, Algeria. Working with French co-counsel, Lieff Global is assisting in the representation of families of passengers killed on March 6, 2003, when a Boeing 737 airplane operated by Air Algerie crashed shortly after takeoff in a fiery impact that killed all six crew and all but one of the 97 passengers aboard. Lieff Global is assisting French co-counsel in an investigation of this aviation disaster and in analysis of the potential avenues of recovery available to the victims.
China Yunnan (Eastern) Airlines Bombardier Regional Jet Crash. Our firm represents families of passengers who died in the November 21, 2004, crash of China Yunnan Airlines Flight 5210. China Yunnan is alleged to be a division of China Eastern Airlines. The defendants also include Bombardier, Inc., the manufacturer of the aircraft, and General Electric Company, the manufacturer of the airplane's engines.
U.S. Army Blackhawk Helicopter Crash. Lieff Global is representing the family of a soldier who died in the November 29, 2004 crash of a Black Hawk U.S. Army Helicopter that tragically killed seven servicemen on active duty, including several senior officers from Fort Hood.
2004 Flash Airlines Boeing 737 Air Disaster. Lieff Global is serving as co-counsel with European solicitors on behalf of families whose loved ones died in the January 3, 2004, crash of a Flash Airlines charter flight into the Red Sea off of the coast of Egypt. The 135 passengers on board included entire families, mainly from France, who had been vacationing at the resort of Sharm el Sheikh.
Beech King Air 200 Crash. Lieff Global is representing the families of several victims of the February 26, 2004 crash of a Beech King Air 200 that killed the President of Macedonia, Boris Trajkovski, and a number of his advisors and cabinet members.
